ABOUT KATELA
Angela, the "ela" of Katela and Katie, the "kat" of Katela have been friends for many years and are also distant relatives. Angela & Katie are both "farmers daughters" of two well known farms in the Sandusky County area. They both have inherited the family's unique baking, as well as cooking abilities. Being able to "kreate" one of a kind confections and baked goods that others don't compare to. While Katela does not offer every day foods (yet lol), they have quite the knack for those as well! Food, in general, is a great passion of both of theirs and have proven that when things are cooked from the heart, they "just taste better". You won't find commercial flavor when it comes to Katela Kreations. Every items is made only by the two of them, from start to finish, every single time.
Angela & Katie are both located in the Sandusky County area of Northern Ohio. Both have busy family lives, being the mom of 7 children between them. Angela does have a medically compromised child, so a shop open to the public is not available at this time. Katela understands the strong want for this from the community and is working towards this goal while keeping all who enter and work there, and their families safe. We do plan for the shop to be located in Sandusky County.
We will currently meet locals for deliveries. Our current customers can attest that we are quite accomodating with this. Additionally, it allows us some one on one time to get to know our customers without the hussle and bustle of a shop environment. We do not charge for the deliveries and will meet in a place convienent to all to save additional money to our customers.
We do offer shipping of shelf stable items, for those further away, please contact us for details.

Katela can often be found at various vendor events in the area and have spent time with local Farm Markets. We are looking forward to being a larger part of the surrounding communities in 2024. We are seeking various farm markets and food vendors that would like to feature several of the Katela Kreations as an option to their customers. Please reach out to us if this is you!
